UNRI Establishes 2026 Budget Priorities as the RKA-KL Is Formally Distributed to Faculties and Operational Units

Pekanbaru, 23 December 2025 — Universitas Riau (UNRI) held the official handover of the 2026 Ministry/Agency Work Plan and Budget (RKA-KL) at the Labersa Grand Hotel & Convention Center, Kampar.

On this occasion, the Rector of UNRI, Prof. Dr. Sri Indarti, S.E., M.Si., delivered a presentation outlining the strategic steps for implementing the 2026 budget. The presentation underscored the importance of measurable planning that is aligned with institutional priorities and oriented toward generating tangible impacts for the community while strengthening the university’s overall performance.

The Rector of UNRI’s presentation was further reinforced by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Dr. Ir. Sofyan Husein Siregar, M.Phil., who comprehensively outlined the planning and budgeting processes within the UNRI environment. He emphasized that the management of the 2026 budget must be grounded in the principles of transparency, effectiveness, and accountability, and supported by strong synergy among the university, faculties, institutes, and work units to ensure that every program is implemented optimally and achieves its intended targets.

As part of the series of activities, the Rector of UNRI symbolically handed over the 2026 RKA-KL to the heads of faculties, institutes, and work units within the UNRI environment. This handover represented a shared commitment to supporting program implementation and budget management that are aligned with UNRI’s vision, mission, and strategic plan.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., when met after the event, stated that FEB UNRI is ready to follow up on the 2026 RKA-KL through well-directed and accountable program planning.

“The RKA-KL serves as an important guideline for the faculty in ensuring that every program is implemented effectively, delivers tangible benefits, and supports the sustainable achievement of institutional performance,” Dr. Alvi said.
