In his remarks, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Mexsasai Indra, S.H., M.H., stated that the implementation of Electronic Signatures is not only a form of technological adaptation, but also part of an effort to improve the quality of higher education governance to be more modern and reliable.

"The implementation of electronic signatures on diplomas is a strategic step by the University of Riau to strengthen its academic service system to be more effective, secure, and accountable. This digital transformation is a crucial part of providing ease of service while increasing trust in the validity of academic documents at UNRI."

The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRI welcomes this implementation with full readiness. Ahead of the upcoming graduation ceremony, FEB UNRI is targeting 100 percent implementation of electronic signatures (TTE) on graduates' diplomas, as part of its support for strengthening technology-based academic governance.

The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., who was met after the event, stated that readiness for the implementation of TTE is a crucial step in providing more modern, effective, and responsive academic services to the developments of the digital era.

"The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRI is ready to fully support the implementation of electronic signatures on student diplomas. God willing, by the upcoming graduation ceremony, FEB UNRI is targeting 100 percent of graduate diplomas to use electronic signatures (TE). Furthermore, Dr. Alvi added that the digital transformation is not only related to administrative aspects, but also part of the institution's commitment to building an adaptive service system oriented to the needs of students and alumni.

UNRI introduced a diploma digitization system through the Diploma Authentication and Digitalization System (SANDI), which is designed to improve security, accelerate service processes, and facilitate access and verification of academic documents for students and alumni. This system is expected to provide increasingly effective and integrated academic services in the era of digital transformation.

The implementation of electronic signatures (TE) within UNRI is expected to streamline administrative processes, strengthen document security, and facilitate diploma authentication for various academic and professional needs. This step also forms part of UNRI's efforts to accelerate the digital transformation of higher education in Indonesia.
