
Pekanbaru, January 15, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI), held a Management Review Meeting (MRM) for its study programs as part of strengthening the quality assurance system and evaluating the performance of academic implementation.
The meeting was attended by faculty leaders and administrators within FEB UNRI, including the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Coordinators of Undergraduate (S1) and Professional Accounting Education (PPAk) Study Programs, the Faculty Quality Assurance Team (SPMF), as well as the Heads of the Study Program Quality Assurance Groups (GPM) for S1 and PPAk programs.
The Management Review Meeting (MRM) was held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, starting at 09:00 a.m. (WIB) until completion, at the Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Faculty Building, FEB UNRI. The meeting was chaired by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB UNRI, Dr. Deny Setiawan, S.E., M.Ec.
The meeting agenda focused on reviewing study program achievements and performance indicators, assessing the effectiveness of program implementation, following up on findings and feedback, and formulating continuous improvement measures to enhance the quality of academic services and governance.
During the MRM, study program managers presented updates on performance progress, challenges encountered, and measurable follow-up recommendations. The forum also served as a platform for cross-unit consolidation to ensure alignment between study program targets, quality standards, and the faculty’s strategic plan.

The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., who was interviewed on a separate occasion, stated that the Management Review Meeting (MRM) is a crucial mechanism for safeguarding quality and ensuring that improvements are implemented consistently.
“The MRM is part of FEB UNRI’s commitment to ensuring that study programs continue to grow within a culture of quality. Evaluations are conducted objectively and based on data, so that the agreed follow-up actions genuinely have an impact on improving academic services, governance effectiveness, and study program performance outcomes.”
Through this MRM, FEB UNRI aims to formulate a clear follow-up action plan, with measurable responsibilities and a realistic implementation schedule. The meeting outcomes are expected to serve as a strategic reference for each study program within FEB UNRI in enhancing the quality of education, services, and stakeholder satisfaction.
