The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., stated that this collaboration represents a strategic step in advancing the faculty’s internationalization while strengthening FEB UNRI’s contribution to the sustainability agenda.
“FEB UNRI views CESGS Universitas Airlangga as a strategic partner with a strong academic reputation and solid experience in developing ESG studies. We are directing this collaboration toward producing high-quality research, applicable policies, and strengthening the role of universities in supporting sustainable development,” said Dr. Alvi.
Furthermore, Dr. Alvi emphasized that one of the medium-term targets of this collaboration is to position FEB UNRI as a living laboratory.
“We want the campus not only to function as a center of learning, but also as a real-world practice space for the development of a green economy, sustainable governance, and ESG-based policy innovation,” she added.
Through synergy with CESGS UNAIR, supported by strong scholarly networks and globally reputable academics, FEB UNRI is optimistic about enhancing its international academic competitiveness, expanding global research networks, and making tangible contributions to the development of ESG-based knowledge and policies—particularly in the context of Indonesia’s wetland regions.
