
Pekanbaru, January 5, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau (FEB UNRI), held a meeting to discuss the lecture schedules for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 for each study program within FEB UNRI. The meeting was conducted on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Faculty Building, FEB UNRI.
The meeting served as an important agenda to ensure the faculty’s academic readiness for the upcoming Even Semester, while also aligning lecture schedules across all study programs so that their implementation can proceed in an orderly and well-coordinated manner, prior to a subsequent scheduling meeting involving all FEB UNRI lecturers.
The activity was led by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB UNRI and attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Heads of Departments, Department Secretaries, Study Program Coordinators, the Head of General Administration (KTU), as well as Working Group (Pokja) Chairs within the FEB UNRI environment.
The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., through the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Deny Setiawan, M.Sc., conveyed that the organization of lecture schedules is the primary foundation for the smooth operation of academic processes.

“Lecture schedules are not merely a division of time, but serve as an essential foundation for ensuring the quality of learning, the discipline of lecturers and students, and the smooth operation of all academic activities within the faculty.” She also reminded each academic unit to ensure that schedules align with lecturers’ workloads, room availability, and students’ needs.
In line with this, Dr. Deny emphasized that the scheduling process was conducted carefully to avoid overlaps and to remain in accordance with the university’s academic calendar.
“Well-organized scheduling from the outset will facilitate the control of the learning process and minimize technical obstacles throughout the semester,” he explained.
He further stressed the importance of synchronizing lecture schedules with the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the support of administrative services.
“Schedule certainty will greatly assist in the management of classrooms, supporting facilities, and general services, ensuring that all academic activities can take place comfortably and effectively,” he stated.
From the student affairs perspective, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Rendra Wasnury, S.E., M.IB., conveyed that orderly lecture schedules also have a direct impact on students’ activities and planning.
“Clear schedules from the beginning help students manage their study rhythm, organizational activities, and other self-development programs during the Even Semester,” he remarked.
Through this meeting, FEB UNRI hopes that the implementation of lectures for the Even Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026 will run smoothly, in a structured manner, and support the improvement of academic quality within the faculty.
