From our nation's predecessors and founders, we learn that the spirit of unity is the key to Indonesia's attainment of independence. This spirit of unity has enabled Indonesia to live in comfort and freedom today, and as successors to the struggles of our ancestors, especially as intellectuals, it is our duty to uphold this spirit.
The Faculty of Economics and Business plays a role in preserving and enhancing this spirit of unity, even through small gestures. To enliven the celebration of Indonesia's 78th Independence Day under the theme "Continuing to Progress for Indonesia's Advancement," the Faculty of Economics and Business participated in fostering unity through various activities among its academic community. The day began with a communal breakfast followed by a photo session where participants wore traditional attire representing their regions. Subsequently, the event featured competitions involving faculty members, staff, and students. Ultimately, the goal of these activities was to foster a sense of unity and mutual respect for diversity among all participants.

The event was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, Department Secretaries, Program Coordinators, Faculty members, administrative staff, and all employees within the Faculty of Economics and Business.
