Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Riau, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, along with her team, attended the launch event of the Integrity Zone establishment at Universitas Riau. The event was inaugurated by the Rector of Universitas Riau, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Indarti, SE., M.Si, and proceeded with the signing of the Integrity Pact for the Corruption-Free Zone and Clean Bureaucracy Serving Zone by the Rector, Vice-Rectors, Deans, Heads of Bureaus, Chairpersons of Institutions, Heads of Units, and Heads of Work Units within Universitas Riau.
The event also included an address on the launch of the Corruption-Free Zone and Clean Bureaucracy Serving Zone (ZI-WBK) by Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc, DIC, Ph.D, IPU, Asean Eng., who is the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology. This was followed by a session on Strengthening and Developing ZI-WBK by Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H, SE., M.H, the Inspector General of the Ministry of Education and Culture, and concluded with a scholarly discussion on the Role of Higher Education Institutions in Corruption Prevention by Dr. Wawan Wardiana, Deputy for Education and Community Participation at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) of the Republic of Indonesia.
