Overseeing the Readiness for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI)

Pekanbaru — The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI), held a Meeting on the Teaching Schedule for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday, 8 January 2026. The meeting took place in the SW 1.1 Workshop Room, SRI-Kandi Building, FEB UNRI, and served as an important step in ensuring the faculty’s academic readiness for the upcoming even semester.

The meeting was chaired directly by the Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M. It was attended by the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, lecturers within FEB UNRI, the Head of the General Administration Office (KTU), as well as Heads of Working Groups within FEB UNRI.

During the meeting, participants comprehensively discussed the preparation and synchronization of the teaching schedule, covering course allocation, assignment of course instructors, and alignment with the university’s academic policies and academic calendar. Cross-unit coordination was carried out to ensure that the learning process in the even semester runs in an orderly, effective manner and in accordance with established academic quality standards.

The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., emphasized that organizing the teaching schedule is not merely an administrative task, but an integral part of efforts to maintain the quality of academic services provided to students.

“The lecture schedule is the cornerstone of the learning process. Therefore, its preparation must be carried out carefully, in a coordinated manner, and with due consideration for the interests of all parties, especially students.”

Dr. Alvi also emphasized the importance of a shared commitment from all elements within FEB UNRI to support the smooth implementation of the even semester.

“Through this meeting, we aim to ensure that the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year can run in a more orderly and well-planned manner, and support the achievement of the faculty’s academic performance targets.”

Through this coordination meeting, FEB UNRI hopes that all study programs will have lecture schedules ready for timely implementation, so that the teaching and learning process in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year can proceed optimally and with high quality.
