FEB UNRI – Universitas Riau (UNRI) Celebrates Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day with Enthusiasm and Pride
The celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony attended by the university’s leaders and academic community, including the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRI, held at the Rektorat grounds. This ceremony was an important moment to commemorate the nation’s struggle for independence and also marked the launch of the official logo and mascot for UNRI’s 62nd anniversary.
The event started with a solemn flag-raising ceremony, attended by all members of the UNRI academic community. In his address, the Rector of Universitas Riau expressed appreciation and gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the university's progress. Additionally, the unveiling of the new logo and mascot to celebrate UNRI's 62nd anniversary was a major highlight, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with competitions held at the Faculty of Economics and Business. The competitions were enthusiastically participated in by faculty members, staff, and employees of FEB UNRI. Various events included sports competitions, traditional games, and other creative activities. The event was filled with joy and a spirit of togetherness, reflecting the unity and camaraderie within FEB UNRI.
