"Treasury Goes To Campus" at the Faculty of Economics and Business

The Regional Office of the Directorate General of Budget Financing and Risk Management (DJPb) for Riau Province organized the Dissemination of Fiscal Risk Report (KFR) for the Second Quarter of 2023 and Riau U-Fest, packaged under the theme "Treasury Goes To Campus."

The mini bazaar of Riau U-Fest was inaugurated by Mr. Burhani, Acting Head of the Regional Office of DJPb Riau Province, together with Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Indarti, SE., M.Si, the Rector of Universitas Riau. They were accompanied by Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, as well as leaders from various eselon I units of the Ministry of Finance, representatives from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) of Pekanbaru City Government, and other invited guests. The event took place at the Yudisium Building of FEB UNRI on Monday, September 25th.

 

During the event, the officials toured the booths and made purchases of products from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) supported by the Ministry of Finance Riau.

The Dissemination of KFR, which is a publication prepared by the Regional Chief Economist of DJPb Riau Province, focused on strengthening local taxing power as one of the pillars of implementing Law No. 1 of 2022 concerning Regional Tax and Retribution.

The event was opened by the Rector of UNRI, followed by presentations from Mr. Burhani AS, Acting Head of DJPb Riau Province, Mr. Irfan Tasbih, representative from Bapenda Riau Province, and Dr. Dahlan Tampubolon, a local expert in Economics and Fiscal Affairs in Riau. The presentations and discussions were moderated by Dr. M. Hidayat.

The Dissemination of KFR and Riau U-Fest 2023 were also enlivened with various games and quizzes. This event aimed to enhance synergy among stakeholders and improve the understanding of students as future leaders in the nation regarding the performance of the State Budget (APBN).
