The Faculty of Economics and Business also enlivened the opening of UNRI's 61st Anniversary celebrations held at Open Space UNRI on Wednesday (27/9). The Faculty of Economics and Business showcased the local culture of Riau as the theme of the parade, presented by representatives from FEB. The highlighted local cultures were Pacu Jalur and Randai.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, expressed that through this initiative, the Faculty of Economics and Business hopes that UNRI's 61st Anniversary this year can serve as a platform to introduce local cultures and raise awareness among younger generations to participate in their preservation. Considering that culture is a cornerstone of our nation's civilization, its preservation should be our collective concern.
