The Economics Faculty English Club (EFEC), one of the student organizations within the Faculty of Economics and Business, recently held a seminar in collaboration with the SUI Foundation under the theme “Blockchain Revolution, Crypto Investment Opportunities, and the SUI Ecosystem.” The event took place in the Yudisium Room of FEB Unri on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
The event was initially scheduled to be opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Mr. Rendra Wasnury, S.E., M.I.B. However, due to his absence, the opening remarks were delivered by the Sub-Coordinator of Student Affairs at FEB, Deby Soevina, S.T., who officially opened the event.
“Blockchain is a decentralized database system that stores transaction records in blocks that are interconnected in a chain, enabling information to be shared transparently and securely within a business network,” explained Fikri Permadi, a representative from the SUI Foundation and the keynote speaker at the event.
The faculty warmly supports all student-led or organizational activities, especially those that are beneficial and broaden perspectives, as was demonstrated by this event.
