Pekanbaru, November 25, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Riau successfully hosted the 2024 Research Results Seminar. The event was attended by 58 lecturers whose research projects were funded by the faculty. This seminar aimed to disseminate the research findings to a broader audience while showcasing FEB Universitas Riau's contribution to the advancement of knowledge and innovation.
During the seminar, researchers presented various findings based on specific evaluation criteria, including the scope and depth of the research, alignment with the faculty’s and university’s strategic research roadmap, and the quality of the presentations. An essential aspect of the seminar was the research outcomes, such as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and publication in nationally accredited journals, with a minimum accreditation level of Sinta 3.
The research outcomes are critical in enhancing the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for both the faculty and study programs. KPIs are vital benchmarks for assessing the quality and contribution of higher education institutions. The research conducted by the faculty members of FEB Universitas Riau is expected to contribute positively to KPI achievements, thus reinforcing the academic reputation of the faculty at both the national and international levels.
This seminar also served as a platform for evaluating the quality of research and strengthening synergies between the faculty, study programs, and researchers in supporting the advancement of knowledge and achieving the university's vision.
