
Pekanbaru, July 7, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Riau (UNRI) held a Meeting on the Preparation of the Lecture Schedule for the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The meeting took place in Room D4 of the Faculty and was attended by faculty leadership, including the Dean, Vice Dean I, Vice Dean II, and Vice Dean III, as well as Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Sub-coordinators for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, General Affairs and Infrastructure, and Satu Unri system operators.
The meeting was officially opened by the Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Deny Setiawan, SE., M.Ec., who in his opening remarks emphasized the importance of preparing an effective and efficient class schedule to support a smooth teaching and learning process in the upcoming semester. He also reminded all parties to work together synergistically to anticipate potential schedule conflicts, limited classroom availability, and the readiness of course instructors.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM., also delivered an evaluation of academic services at the undergraduate (S1) and master’s (S2) levels, expressing hope for improvements in service quality and efficiency in future academic processes.

In addition, the Dean also highlighted the faculty's policy direction in welcoming the transition from the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program to a new initiative titled “Berdampak” (Impactful), which is expected to be more aligned with societal needs and deliver tangible contributions from the academic sphere. She encouraged all units within the faculty to be ready to adapt and innovate in supporting the implementation of this program.
The Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs outlined the main points of the academic calendar and key dates, including the deadline for finalizing the schedule and the timeline for inputting it into the academic information system. Meanwhile, the Vice Dean II addressed the readiness of facilities and infrastructure to support the lectures, and the Vice Dean III presented student-related agendas that need to be synchronized with academic activities, including the PKKMB (Introduction to Campus Life for New Students) program.
The Study Program Coordinators (Kaprodi) and Heads of Departments (Kajur) also provided input regarding the specific needs of each study program, including room adjustments and scheduling arrangements for lecturers who teach across multiple programs. The Satu Unri system operators were also actively involved in technical discussions related to the use of the Satu Unri platform.
With the conclusion of the meeting, all parties committed to completing the preparation of the lecture schedule on time and ensuring that the Odd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year runs in an orderly and smooth manner.
