The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Riau is committed to contributing to one of Universitas Riau's priority programs, which is to create a campus environment that is green, comfortable, and environmentally friendly, encapsulated under the title Green Campus. Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Riau, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., accompanied by Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Rendra Wasnury, SE., MIB, FEB lecturer Edfan Darlis, SE., M.Si, Ak., CA, as well as all staff at FEB and members of Mapala Humendala, officially launched the Starting Point Prototype Walking Track in the FEB Forest on Friday (10/13).
This Walking Track is intended to be part of utilizing the FEB forest and aims to introduce and familiarize students with the forest and its surroundings. Dr. Alvi expressed her hope that the launch of this prototype walking track starting point marks the beginning of a larger vision to transform Universitas Riau, and specifically the Faculty of Economics and Business, into a green campus that is lush, comfortable, and environmentally friendly. The event also included the planting of tree seedlings around the walking track starting point area.
