FEB UNRI Green Campus is an initiative launched by the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, to support one of Universitas Riau's priority programs in creating a campus environment that is lush, comfortable, and environmentally friendly.
Public information manager, Raisya Wulandari, who created the logo, mentioned that the FEB UNRI Green Campus logo holds a meaning:
"The silhouette of trees symbolizes nature and the environment that need to be preserved. The 'dollar' shape in the middle of the logo represents the concept of green economy, followed by branches reaching upwards and an arrow symbolizing economic advancement, which is closely related to the Faculty of Economics and Business itself."
Preserving the environment is not only necessary to mitigate pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. All three are interconnected and urgently need to be addressed. Therefore, efforts to connect environmental issues with the interests of the local community, FEB UNRI supports both by implementing a green campus and providing eco-efficient understanding in meeting the needs of the current generation to all students.
