On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI), held a lively celebration of its 63rd Anniversary at the FEB UNRI Student Expression Corner. The event was attended by the entire academic community — including faculty leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students from various study programs — in an atmosphere filled with togetherness and a strong sense of family.
This year’s anniversary celebration embraced the spirit of unity, appreciation, and environmental awareness. As a tangible expression of this commitment, the event began with the presentation of tree seedlings to new students, symbolizing environmental preservation and the younger generation’s responsibility for ecological sustainability.
In addition, the event featured the planting of orchid flowers around the FEB UNRI campus as part of an effort to beautify and green the faculty’s surroundings. During this meaningful occasion, the faculty also presented awards to outstanding members of the academic community as a token of appreciation for their dedication and contributions in bringing honor to FEB UNRI at the local, national, and international levels.
The celebration concluded with the cutting of the tumpeng — a traditional cone-shaped rice dish — as a symbol of gratitude for the faculty’s journey and achievements to date, accompanied by performances and shared moments of joy among all participants, which further enlivened the anniversary festivities.
Through this event, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, reaffirmed its commitment to continually being an excellent educational institution that upholds integrity, fosters environmental consciousness, and contributes meaningfully to society.
