Pekanbaru, November 23, 2024 – FEB UNRI Successfully Hosts Guest Lecture on Islamic Accounting with the Theme “Fundamental Analysis of Bonds”
The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau (FEB UNRI), successfully organized a Guest Lecture on Islamic Accounting with the theme “Fundamental Analysis of Bonds”. This event was part of the Practitioner Teaching Program, featuring Mr. Coky Andre, S.E., a seasoned practitioner in Financial Relations, Treasury, & International Banking, as the keynote speaker.
In her opening remarks, the Chairperson of the Event, Nur Azlina, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., CGAA., CertipSas., Ph.D., emphasized that the purpose of this event was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge taught in classrooms and real-world practice. "This guest lecture is a strategic step in providing students with direct insights into the application of bond fundamental analysis within the context of Islamic finance. The presence of practitioners like Mr. Coky Andre adds tremendous value to students’ learning experience," she stated.
The Islamic Accounting course lecturers at FEB UNRI, including Dr. Taufeni Taufik, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., Dra. Yusralaini, MM., Ak., CA., Rezi Abdurrahman, SE., ME., and Suci Nurulita, SE., M.Si., played an active role in initiating the event. They highlighted the importance of equipping students with knowledge about the application of Islamic accounting, particularly in addressing real-world challenges.
The Head of the S1 Accounting Program at FEB UNRI, Meilda Wiguna, S.E., along with faculty and students of the Islamic Accounting course, expressed their appreciation for the outstanding contribution of the speaker, who provided valuable and relevant insights for the academic world.
