Universitas Riau officially launched the Wirausaha Merdeka Batch II program at Hotel Royal Asnof Pekanbaru on August 23rd. The Wirausaha Merdeka (WMK) program at Universitas Riau was inaugurated by the Governor of Riau, represented by Romi Pasrah, S.STP, M.Si, Head of Cooperatives and SMEs Division.
The Grand Launching event was attended by Vice Rector 3 of Universitas Riau, Dr. Hermandra, Vice Rector 4 Dr. Sofyan Husein Siregar, Adrian Bany Kansil from the Wirausaha Merdeka Central Implementation Team, Chairman of the Alumni Association of Universitas Riau Wan Muhammad Hasyim, and of course, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, along with other invited guests.
Moreover, the Wirausaha Merdeka Batch II program is led by Julita, SE., M.Si, Ak, CA, who serves as the Coordinator of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (P2K2) at Universitas Riau and is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
