Pekanbaru, April 25, 2026 — The Institute for Scientific Research and Information (LPII) of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, through its Human Resources Division, successfully implemented the HARMONI (Human Resource Management & Emotional Intelligence) program. This activity was designed as strategic training to improve the managerial quality and personal capacity of organizational cadres.
The program featured an inspiring speaker, Livia Octaviani Jufri. In her presentation, she provided applicable material based on real-life experiences, enabling participants to gain not only theoretical but also practical understanding of organizational management.

Through discussions on human resource management and emotional intelligence, participants were equipped with the skills to build effective communication, improve teamwork, and develop adaptive leadership skills in an organizational environment.
Rendra Wasnury, S.E., M.IB, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNRI, expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the program. "Programs like HARMONI are highly relevant in developing students who not only excel academically but also mature in leadership, communication, and organizational management. This is an important foundation for the younger generation in facing future challenges."
The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., fully supports the student capacity development program. "We encourage student organizations to continue offering programs that build character, competence, and integrity. HARMONI is a concrete step in developing young leaders who are ready to compete and capable of bringing about positive change," said Dr. Alvi.

The activity, attended by all members of the LPII FEB UNRI, was conducted with great enthusiasm. The HARMONI program is expected to produce reliable, visionary, and highly integrated organizational leaders.
Furthermore, the primary outcome of this activity is the creation of a solid, supportive, and professional work environment that upholds the values of integrity for all elements of the institution.
