Pekanbaru, February 10, 2026 — The Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Riau (FEB UNRI) took part in the Open Senate Session of the University of Riau for the February 2026 Graduation Ceremony. This graduation moment marks not only an academic achievement but also the beginning of the graduates’ service in the professional world and in society.
Based on data from the February 2026 graduation period, FEB UNRI conferred degrees upon a total of 308 graduates, consisting of: 2 Doctoral (S3) graduates in Management, 29 Master’s (S2) graduates in Accounting, 21 Master’s graduates in Management, 1 Master’s graduate in Economics, 38 Bachelor’s (S1) graduates in Development Economics, 118 Bachelor’s graduates in Management, 94 Bachelor’s graduates in Accounting, and 5 Diploma Three graduates.
In this period, FEB UNRI also recorded the Top Graduate (Valedictorian) from the Bachelor’s Program in Accounting, Ahya Sofia Balqis, who achieved a GPA of 3.91 and graduated with Highest Honors (Cum Laude).
The Dean of FEB UNRI, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, S.E., M.M., expressed appreciation for the graduates’ achievements and emphasized that academic degrees must be accompanied by strong character and integrity.
“Graduation is an important milestone, but more than that, it is a starting point to prove competence, ethics, and integrity. FEB UNRI hopes that its graduates will become adaptive and professional individuals who are able to make meaningful contributions to regional and national development.”
Dr. Alvi added that the achievements of the valedictorian and the total number of graduates this period serve as motivation for the entire academic community to continuously improve the quality of learning and performance.
“Congratulations to all graduates, and especially to the valedictorian. May this achievement inspire other students to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the good name of FEB UNRI wherever they are.”
