Visit of RRI Pekanbaru to FEB UNRI to Strengthen Cooperation and Build Synergy
Pekanbaru, Indonesia – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Riau (UNRI) recently hosted a visit from RRI Pekanbaru (Radio Republik Indonesia) to strengthen the partnership and build synergy between RRI and FEB UNRI. This collaboration is based on mutual support (symbiosis mutualism), where FEB UNRI will facilitate the provision of human resources with the appropriate competencies and capacities as educators and researchers, frequently engaging in community service activities in their respective fields of study. On the other hand, RRI, as a public broadcasting media, offers its potential, capacity, facilities, and expertise to conduct socialization and education efforts aimed at improving literacy in society and advancing scientific and technological development.
A concrete result of this collaboration will be that every two weeks, lecturers from FEB UNRI will participate in RRI programs, either from the FEB UNRI studio, the RRI studio, or in the field. This initiative will help bridge the gap between academia and the public, offering opportunities for knowledge sharing and community engagement.
