The Faculty of Economics and Business, Riau University (FEB Unri) held a committee meeting to prepare for two major international events: the Riau International Conference for Economics, Business, and Accounting (RICEBA) and the Riau International Community Service (RICS) 2024. The meeting took place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30 in the Multimedia Room of FEB Unri.
The Dean of FEB Unri, Dr. Alvie Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, and the Deputy Dean III, Rendra Wasnury, SE., MIB, provided guidance during the meeting. The meeting was led by the Chair of the Committee, Tengku Firli Musfar, SE., MM, accompanied by the Deputy Chair 1, Dr. Arumega Zarefar, SE., M.Ak, and Deputy Chair 2, Dr. Any Widayatsari, SE., M.SE.
The RICEBA and RICS 2024 events, themed “Trends and Future Outlook in Global Economics, Business, and Accounting,” aim to discuss the latest developments in global economics, business, and accounting and to foster collaboration among academics, practitioners, and students from various countries. In addition to the international conference, the activities also include community service involving active participation from the international community.
Through these events, FEB Unri hopes to make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge in economics, business, and accounting, as well as to enhance international cooperation through the exchange of ideas and experiences among participants. The committee is also committed to ensuring the success of these events by involving various stakeholders and ensuring smooth preparations.
