Pekanbaru, December 14, 2024 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Riau University (UNRI) visited Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), Malaysia, from December 11 to 13, 2024, as part of the MoU implementation between UNRI and UNISEL. The visit focused on signing several important documents aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the two universities, particularly in the field of postgraduate education.
Among the key agreements signed was a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Dean of FEB UNRI and the Dean of CGS UNISEL. The MoA signing aimed to enhance collaboration between the two faculties in the development of academic programs and research. Additionally, the Implementation Agreement (IA) was signed between the Master of Management Study Program at FEB UNRI and the Dean of CGS UNISEL, which aims to create more opportunities for students and academic staff from both institutions to collaborate closely in the field of management.
These document signings were conducted based on a prior MoU, numbered UNRI No. 16/UN19.5.I.I.2/H.K.00.07/2024 and No. UNISEL/FBA/MOA/2024.
Dr. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM., Dean of FEB UNRI, who attended the event, stated that the signing represents a concrete step in expanding the scope of international collaboration between UNRI and UNISEL, as well as opening up more opportunities for students and academics at both universities.
This activity serves as a strategic step to strengthen academic relations between UNRI and UNISEL, opening up more opportunities for the academic and professional development of students and faculty at both institutions.
