[Visit of Commission II of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Indragiri Hilir Regency]

The Faculty of Economics and Business received a visit from Commission II of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Indragiri Hilir Regency on Wednesday, September 13th, at the Multipurpose Room of the Dean's Office, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau. The delegation from Commission II was led by Chairman Ir. H. Amd. Junaidi AN, M.Si, accompanied by 5 members: Buono Abdi, Zulhafendi, H. Samsidik, H. Taufik Hidayat, and Adhitiya Ramadhan Putra.

This visit was conducted in the context of implementing the Tri Dharma of higher education institutions, serving as a platform for discussions and exchange of views between the Council Members and the Dean and Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Economics and Business regarding the ISPO policy and the direction of plantation policies affecting Indragiri Hilir Regency.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, Dr. Hj. Alvi Furwanti Alwie, SE., MM, emphasized that this discussion exemplifies the role of universities as partners to policymakers in government, particularly the Government of Indragiri Hilir Regency. The event concluded with the exchange of souvenirs between both parties and a group photo session.
